Introduction

This webinar is aimed at addressing the acute problem of violence in society and civil unrest today. Not only physical but also moral injuries that people receive as a result of abuse cause serious harm to their whole life, and it becomes difficult for them to get out of it. For example, shooting in a public place, where people become victims without expecting it, and as a result get psychological injuries, which, if left untreated, can turn into a big problem. Speakers believe that the support of loved ones and some types of activity, such as yoga or breathing exercises, are designed to help victims restore their moral balance.

Main body

For victims of abuse, violence, or racial prejudice, various activities help to overcome their fears and overcome psychological barriers. For example, yoga classes or communities where people can feel free and calm in a circle of people and talk about common interests, nutrition, and other things (NCTSN, 2021). In addition, for support, it is necessary to have close people nearby who will help to recover and heal after what happened. Furthermore, it is essential to have a mentor nearby who will aim to ensure that their wards return to normal as soon as possible and can continue to lead their way of life (NCTSN, 2021). Mentors should monitor, give advice, and help the wards so that they do not turn off the path and their trauma does not develop, dragging them into depression.

I learned that psychological traumas that a person receives are transmitted through DNA to subsequent generations. This circumstance significantly impacts a person and their use of various narcotics and other psychoactive substances. In addition, I learned that there are extraordinary communities for victims engaged in the treatment of psychological trauma because of abuse. These communities actively cooperate with doctors, psychologists, and emergency departments. Some funds are ready to sponsor assistance to affected people, making it possible to save people from depression, breakdowns, and hatred of themselves and others.

The healing that victims of abuse or racial discrimination need play an essential role in people’s later lives. This is because it helps people feel safe, and this feeling should be maintained for an extended period, as it helps to regain oneself and prevent the spread of the effects of moral trauma (NCTSN, 2021). In addition, a community that supports and helps to survive trauma is necessary for people who find themselves in the center of civil unrest. People begin to realize that their lives are under control which allows them to concentrate on things that are important to them.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this webinar raises an essential topic of civil unrest, racial discrimination, and injuries caused by abuse. The speakers offer various options for dealing with the moral damage inflicted on victims of abuse. In addition, this video clarifies that it is impossible to dwell on what happened, but on the contrary, people need to fight it. Speakers pay attention to how vital the support of society and loved ones is, as well as the search for something that can distract from a terrible event. Special attention in this webinar is paid to yoga and breathing practices as recommendations for combating negative emotions caused by abuse. These recommendations can help to cope with negative thoughts and survive a severe conditions after cruelty in society.
